Rural Marketing



Rural marketing is a process which starts with decision to product a sealable farm commodity and it involves all the aspects of market structure or system, both fuctional and institutional, base on technical and economic considiration, and includes pre and post harvest operational, assembling, grading, storage, transportation and distribution.

“The study of ruarl marketing comprise all the operatios and the agencies conducting them involved in the movement of farm produced foods, raw materials and their delivaries, such as  textile, from the farm to the final consumers and effects of such operations on producers middleman nad consumers

Modern rural marketing should includes sum total activities of a village related to buying, producing and selling. It includes not only buying and selling agricultural goods but also all the services and village tourism, natural resources, water to the urban open space, park natural buties, etc.
